At Nourish the Soul this month we celebrate an ever-growing relationship between religion and labor to not only uplift the efforts of past workers, but also to shine light on the oppressive working conditions and poverty wages millions of workers are forced to endure.   This service is part of the AFL-CIO's annual "Labor on the Bimah" program in partnership with the Contra Costa Labor Council. CBT member Jane Enloe will speak on her experiences in the Labor movement, highlighting current fights to protect the dignity of all workers. Jane's presentation will be followed by a discussion on how this continual struggle is showcased by the Tanakh .
